Team news: Jesus returns for FA Cup third round | Team news | News

Gabriel Jesus returns to the starting line-up as one of three changes to face Manchester United in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium.

The Brazilian returns after coming on as a substitute against Newcastle United in midweek, while Mikel Merino and Jorginho are the other two changes – replacing Declan Rice and Thomas Partey in midfield. Leandro Trossard is the other player to make way.

So the back four remains unchanged – with Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly in front of David Raya. Martin Odegaard is captain of the team, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli remain in the striker positions.

Riccardo Calafiori is out due to injury and is therefore not in the 20-man squad at all.

The visitors did not play during the week and made just two changes compared to the team that drew 2-2 with Liverpool last weekend. There is one change in goal, with Altay Bayindir replacing Andre Onana, while Alejandro Garnacho comes in for Amad Diallo.
