Team news: Lewis-Skelly starts against Monaco | Team news | News

Mikel Arteta has made four changes to his squad for tonight’s Champions League game against Monaco, with Myles Lewis-Skelly making his second start for the Gunners.

The 18-year-old, who has played six games this season, joins our team at left-back for Jurrien Timber as the coach reshuffles his team. Mikel Merino also came into the starting line-up and Jorginho was on the bench.

Brazilian duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus also get the starting XI ahead of Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz, who are part of a strong group of substitutes.

Monaco also made four changes to their squad this evening, with former Southampton player Mohammed Salisu moving into central defense while Wilfried Singo is suspended.

Soungoutou Magassa comes into midfield, captain Denis Zakaria is injured and Christian Mawissa is also suspended, while Eliesse Ben Seghir and Breel Embolo return to the attack and Takumi Minamino and George Ilenhikhena are demoted to the bench.
