Kieran Tierney will start Crystal Palace’s Carabao Cup quarter-final tonight, making his first appearance for us since the 2023 Community Shield final.

He spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad in La Liga and returned with Scotland after Euro 2024.

Mikel Arteta has made eight changes to the squad that started last weekend’s game against Everton, with Tierney also joined by Thomas Partey, Jakub Kiwior, Jorginho, Ethan Nwaneri, Raheem Sterling, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus in the squad .

Make way for William Saliba, Gabriel, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz.

Goalkeeper Tommy Setford joins central defender Maldini Kacurri in the squad.
