“Terror Twins” give rockets hope

The Houston Rockets have two of the best backup players in the league in second-year pro Amen Thompson and third-year forward Tari Eason.

Both players suffered injuries last year, and if they were healthy, the Rockets might have done better than their 41-41 mark.

The now healthy “Terror Twins” are making a name for themselves with the Rockets.

“Thompson can do everything except shoot threes, and he’s gotten better across the board this year. He’s more skilled without the ball, stronger with it, and meaner at taking it away from the other team’s ball handlers,” writes HoopsHype contributor Mike Shearer. “Both Eason and Thompson are currently in the running for Sixth Man of the Year. Houston is loaded with talent on its roster. Their fast start to this season is no joke; They believe they can win the Western Conference – and they “I’m right.”

While the Rockets keep their eyes on the end result of the season, they are much more focused on the process of developing into a team worthy enough to secure a spot in the standings among the top teams in the Western Conference.

The Terror Twins and Rockets will look to prove themselves further tomorrow night when they take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on the road. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. PT.
