Texas vs. Texas A&M: Police cite man and dog for riding Longhorn and order them to leave campus

COLLEGE STATION – The return of the Lone Star showdown between Texas football and Texas A&M made for a lively game day atmosphere – and obviously an interesting day for the Texas A&M University Police.

The ministry’s official account posted an update on social media on Saturday evening regarding a rather unique “violation of university rules.”

“A man was riding a horse and another man and his dog were riding a longhorn,” the post said. “(They) agreed to leave campus.”

Some pictures of the longhorn-riding pup also made their way to social media.

The Longhorns and Aggies will renew their football rivalry for the first time since 2011 when they kick off at Kyle Field at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
