The 10 Game Awards 2024 announcements you shouldn’t miss

The Game Awards celebrated its 10th anniversary on December 12th with a star-studded show featuring mainstream celebrities and legendary game designers.

The Game Awards have increasingly become a platform for companies to promote their upcoming projects and unveil their first trailers. This is a strange precedent for an awards show – imagine if the Oscars alternated awards announcements with movie trailers. It would feel like a huge advertisement.

That’s a good reason, but the second – and probably most important – reason is the views. Views and money. The new mafia The game is a prequel to the previous entries. Mafia III took some risks and moved the setting to a more open New Orleans with Vietnam veteran Lincoln Clay as the protagonist.
