A new fan poster for Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge Fans are excited about a possible sequel to the classic 90s films.

Home alone became one of the most popular holiday films in history in 1990 thanks to Macaulay Culkin’s memorable performance as Kevin McCallister. Then he returned Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1992 and established himself as one of the biggest child stars of his time.

While two more sequels have been released, Hollywood has tried to recapture the magic of the film Home alone history for decades.

Fan poster for “Home Alone 3” increases demand for the sequel

A new fan poster circulating online (mainly on Facebook) is raising questions about the possible release of a film with the title Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge.

The poster features an adult Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) holding a makeshift gun in front of a new house that has been partially destroyed.

This is far from the first time that a Home alone The sequel has been teased online. Fans saw alleged promotional material for a Home alone Disney+ film only in November.

Another version called Cabin alone was also teased back in late 2023 when a poster showing Culkin as an adult showed him in a cabin in front of a Christmas tree.

As with the other promotional materials, this poster is definitely a fake as Culkin and the other actors are clearly photoshopped in front of the burning house in the shot.

Will there ever be a new Home Alone movie?

Macaulay Culkin is the closest he has come to returning to the world Home alone Franchise was in 2018 when he appeared as Kevin McCallister in a Google Assistant ad. Additionally, fans have seen Catherine O’Hara explore her role as Kevin’s mother, Kate, in Chase commercials alongside comedian Kevin Hart.

Culkin is also preparing to host one Home alone tour in Connecticut called “A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin,” where he will screen the film and then hold a question-and-answer session. These will take place on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th

What the future of Home alone Franchise, per period, Dead Pool Star Ryan Reynolds was set to produce a new project centered around the adult Kevin McCallister in 2018. Unfortunately, this project went through development hell and never came to fruition.

As of now, there don’t appear to be any plans to revive the Home Alone story with or without Macaulay Culkin in tow.
