As the industry recovered from pandemic-related closures and restrictions, Den of thieves 2 was again derailed by an actor’s injury and the war in Ukraine, which ruined her filming schedule. Güdegast: The state of the world. The first blow was Covid. We were just about to do it, then Covid came and that was it. Then we suffered an injury to the knee of an actor, one of our lead actors, and that lasted another nine months or so. And we wanted to make it in Belgrade and Croatia, then there was a war with Ukraine and all the Ukrainians fled to Belgrade and Croatia and there were no Airbnbs or hotels to accommodate the crew. Then it was supposed to be France, and then the exchange rate got mixed up for us and we had to move to another state with a tax credit. We had many, many…just the realities of production today.
