With star quarterback Jalen Hurts suffering a concussion and CJ Gardner-Johnson sidelined, the Eagles were unable to overcome five touchdown passes from Jayden Daniel and missed a chance to capture the second NFC East title in Nick Sirianni’s four years To secure Philadelphia.

Reed Blankenship intercepted Daniels with 3:06 left in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia got the ball back and ran five plays, but a pass from DeVonta Smith stopped the clock with 158 games remaining, as the Eagles were only able to subtract 55 seconds of actual game time between the interception and Jake Elliott’s field goal that the Birds had up 33-28.
