The “Falcon Crest” star turned 70

Actress Jill Jacobson, known for her two-season stint on the drama series Falcon Crest In the mid-1980s, he died on December 8 at Cedars-Sinai’s Culver West Health Center after a long illness.

“We are incredibly sad to say goodbye to our beautiful, soulful, hilarious, elegantly raunchy client Jill Jacobson,” Ben Padula, her manager, said in a statement. “Jill was a consummate actress with comedic timing straight out of a Marx Brothers film and Golden Age Hollywood glamour. Jill took us on so many adventures and she was an absolute blast. Thanks, Jill. We see each other in our dreams.

Jacobson was born in Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a BS in radio, television and film performance before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Her first role was in the 1977 slasher horror film Sister Sherri as a nurse in the hospital is possessed by an evil spirit, and one of her first guest appearances was on the series Harper Valley PTA, The Devlin connection And Crazy as a fox.

At the same time she played Erin Jones, Richard Channing’s (David Selby) employee. Falcon CrestJacobson had the recurring role of Larue Wilson in the first syndicated comedy The new gadget.

Other guest roles on Jacobson’s resume were included Star Trek: The next generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Newhart, Castle, Who’s the Boss?, Quantum Leap, Arliss And Murphy Brown. She also appeared in several television films and had a supporting role in Ron Howard’s 1984 film, Squirt.

Outside of acting, Jacobson was a volunteer speaker for the American Cancer Society.
