COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (7-3) puts its four-game winning streak on the line Tuesday night when it hosts in-state rival No. 25 Clemson (9-2) in the annual SC Education Lottery Palmetto Series. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (ET) with Roy Philpott (pxp) and former Gamecock assistant coach Perry Clark (analyst) on the SEC Network broadcast.

It will be the 173approx All-time meeting between the two programs in one of the longest running rivalries in college.

The Tigers have won 5 of 7 in the series, but the Gamecocks were victorious the last time the two programs met in head coach Lamont Paris’ first season in 2022-23. Columbia native Chico Carter Jr. hit the game-winning turnaround jump shot with 0.9 seconds left as the Gamecocks won. 60-58.

Collin Murray-Boyles, a preseason All-SEC selection, leads the league and is in the top 20 nationally in field goals made. He posted a double-double in three straight games for Carolina, dating back to a 16-point, 14-rebound performance in a 73-51 win at Boston College on December 3. Graduate transfer Nick Pringle matched his career high with 19 points in the team’s most recent win over USC Upstate on Dec. 3. 14.
