Who are the nominees for the 82nd Annual Golden Globe?

“Emilia Pérez”, the musical crime thriller by the French director Jacques, with Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomezleads the nominations this year with 10. He received nominations for acting, directing, screenplay and music.

On television, “The Bear,” “Only Murders in the Building” and “Shōgun” — all from Hulu — emerged as frontrunners. “The Bear” received five nominations. “Only Murders” (which also stars Steve Martin and Martin Short and Selena Gomez) and “Shōgun” received four each.

The full list of nominees in 27 categories was announced on December 9th.

Two Golden Globe-winning artists will be honored with special awards: Viola Davis will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson will receive the Carol Burnett Award.

Who is hosting the Golden Globes?

Comedian Nikki Glaser will be the one first woman as a solo presenter the Golden Globe Awards. Glazier was announced as host in August following her breakout appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Roast of Tom Brady.”

Glaser told “CBS Mornings.” that former Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais called her and gave her some advice.

“His advice was, ‘Just be yourself. You’re not one of them. Don’t try to go out there and act like you’re a star just because you’re invited,'” she said.
