Shocking footage showed an angry Colorado “Karen” pointing a gun at a young couple after they honked at her outside a supermarket.

The anonymous couple said they were trying to drive out of a crowded King Soopers parking lot in Federal Heights King over the weekend when they got stuck behind a parked car.

After waiting a moment to see if the car would swerve, they honked to “signal them to move forward,” the couple told FOX 31.

But the trivial parking spot change quickly took a dramatic turn when the woman driving the car in front of them jumped out of her vehicle and approached them.

“She came up to us and wanted to insult us,” the couple said. As the woman began to approach them, they began recording the interaction.

They soon realized she was holding a gun with a blue laser pointer attached.

One of the frightened passengers said: “I looked at my shirt and saw the laser on my shirt and I was like we have to go, we have to go, like I was really scared.”

“Before that there was no exchange of words or anything like that. “Maybe I feel like I should have been more patient and just waited because maybe that wouldn’t have happened.”

In the video, the agitated woman, wearing a red hoodie, reached into her bag and pulled out the gun as people watched.

After flashing the gun, she put it back in her pocket. The couple noticed that there were a lot of people around at the time.

“There were a lot of families leaving the store behind us,” one of them told FOX 31.

The couple reported the incident to police and said they planned to press charges against the confused woman.

DailyMail.com reached out to the Federal Heights Police Department for more information and a spokesperson said the situation was under investigation.

This parking lot disaster occurred less than a month after an Uber driver in Las Vegas was shot in the neck and killed in a road rage incident.

The victim, in his late 50s, was found dead on the street with a serious neck injury.

Police said the driver, who had two passengers in his vehicle, was involved in a traffic collision with the suspect that spanned about a quarter mile before the shooting.

The victim drove behind the suspect’s vehicle and when both cars came to a stop, the victim exited his vehicle, approached the driver’s door and struck the window.

Police said that’s when the suspect shot the Uber driver in the neck.

The victim also reportedly had his own firearm drawn, but collapsed before he could ever pull the trigger.

The attacker fled the scene before officers arrived, but was quickly able to identify the license plate.

They then arrested a woman in her 20s without incident, police said, and she was taken into custody.
