The Texas Longhorns are one win away from the national championship.

Texas (13-2) will face Ohio State (12-2) in the Cotton Bowl on Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The winner of the College Football Playoff semifinals will face Notre Dame in the championship.

— 0:13 left in the second: Ohio State responded immediately to the Longhorns’ goal before halftime. Will Howard completed a 75-yard touchdown pass to TreVeyon Henderson to put the Buckeyes back in the lead. Ohio State 14, Texas 7

— 0:29 left in the second: Quinn Ewers completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jaydon Blue to put the Longhorns on the scoreboard. Will Stone made the extra kick instead of Bert Auburn, equalizing the score. Ohio State 7, Texas 7
