Season 12 of “The Masked Singer” ended Wednesday with heartbreaking performances, shocking revelations and a historic victory.

The season finale of the Emmy-winning competition series, in which stars disguise their identities with extravagant and often outlandish costumes, not only revealed both finalists but also crowned a winner.

The episode began with a holiday performance by season five winner Nick Lachey, aka alt-ego Piglet, who performed the holiday classic “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

Then the finalists delivered their final two performances and fought for the title as winners. The audience later voted for them to take home the prestigious Golden Mask trophy.
