Give “Frosty” the cold shoulder.

Jamming to a snowman-themed Christmas song while driving could land you in a snowbank if you’re not careful.

That’s what experts say, warning against listening to music with a high rate of beats per minute (BPM) as you make your way across the river and through the woods this holiday season.

The frightening holiday news comes after a study by the South China University of Technology (SCUT) in which researchers found that songs with a BPM of more than 120 promote dangerous driving habits.

And after evaluating a long list that supposedly included all the classic Christmas songs, 1950’s “Frosty The Snowman,” first recorded by Gene Autry – and later that year by Jimmy Durante – was named “the most dangerous song to sing” by Insuranceopedia Skidding” while driving is number one with a potentially crazy 172 BPM.

“As the holiday season approaches, it is important to recognize how music influences our driving habits. While festive tunes bring joy, some energetic or distracting songs can affect our concentration on the road,” explained Max Coupland, CEO of the insurance advice website.

And while it’s hard to avoid this time of year, the second most dangerous song, according to the Coverage Kings, is “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by the Christmas queen herself, Mariah Carey.

The highly decorated song has a nerve-wracking BPM of 150, the website says.

Other so-called offenders included Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad,” at No. 3 on the naughty list, and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” which had apparently been creating dangerous conditions on highways since 1934, when it first hit the pop charts.

The results were compiled using information from the SCUT study, which suggested that these types of spirited songs may have psychological and cardiovascular effects that could increase the likelihood that this type of driving will lead to more accidents on the road, say the experts.

Apparently you don’t even have to drive a car to be driven crazy by a Christmas song.

At one of Mariah Carey’s recent holiday concerts, several adults got into an argument, and a clip of the incident is going viral on social media, The Post reported this week.

The brawl broke out when the ’90s pop diva performed her hit seasonal anthem.

“These mothers must have had too much wine,” exclaimed an armchair watcher on X.
