The New York Giants will select No. 3 in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Giants capped a miserable season with a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles’ reserves and were 3-14 on the year. Unfortunately for the Giants, the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns also ended their year with losses. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills 4:13 and are in fourth place in the draft.

Top 4 picks

  1. Tennessee Titans (3-14 | .520)
  2. Cleveland Browns (3-14 | .543)
  3. New York Giants (3-14 | .554)
  4. New England Patriots (4-13 | .469)

The rest of the top 10 is still up in the air, at least at this point, but what matters is the top of the draft. The Giants were unable to secure the first overall pick after the Browns’ loss on Saturday because the tiebreakers worked against them.

It’s somewhat ironic that one of the Giants’ few wins this year was in Week 3 against the Browns.

Both the Titans and Browns have a dire need for quarterbacks. The Titans benched Will Levis in favor of Mason Rudolph, and while the Browns are sticking with Deshaun Watson for now, they could look for a potential replacement in the draft.

The Giants’ win over the Colts – or their win over the Browns – could have completely eliminated them from the top of the quarterback draft. Had the Patriots retained the first overall pick, they might have been amenable to a trade. However, New England’s victory may have put the Giants in the same situation as a year ago, when none of the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders or Patriots were interested in a deal.

The Giants’ offseason begins now and could be complicated regardless of what happens with the front office and coaching staff. The team only has Tommy DeVito under contract and needs a quarterback to build around.
