The Packers lose to the Bears in the finals and play the Eagles in the NFC wild card round

The Green Bay Packers lost Christian Watson and Jordan Love to injuries, were defeated by the Chicago Bears on a game-winning field goal as time expired, and now travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Round.

Watson left with a knee injury and was unable to leave halftime. Love injured his elbow on the same drive in the second quarter but never returned.

After Brandon McManus gave the Packers their first lead of the game at 22-21 with 54 seconds left, the Bears moved into field goal range and Cairo Santos kicked a 51-yard field goal as time expired Helping Bears win the season finale.

The Packers finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 11-6 after losing two straight division games. Matt LaFleur’s team was 1-5 in NFC North games and 0-3 in divisional home games.

As a No. 7 seed, the Packers will travel to Philadelphia to play the No. 2 seed Eagles in the first round of the NFC playoffs at Lincoln Financial Stadium.

The Washington Commanders came from behind to defeat the Dallas Cowboys, giving the Packers a No. 7 seed regardless of the result against the Bears.

The loss ended an 11-game winning streak over the Bears. It was also the Packers’ first loss to the Bears at Lambeau Field since 2015.
