The PlayStation 2024 Wrap-Up has been (mostly) out of service for 24 hours

Sony’s PlayStation 2024 wrap-up has a small problem: it doesn’t work. The website for accessing your year-end PlayStation stats and achievements has been down due to maintenance since its launch almost 24 hours ago. Press Square reports that although some people were able to briefly access their summaries, many quickly encountered errors before it eventually collapsed. In the image above the message “We will be back soon” is now displayed. Oops!

The year-end recap is similar to Spotify Wrapped and other year-end recaps. Assuming Sony eventually gets it working again, you’ll see stats like your most played games, achievements, monthly game failures, your personal play style, and more.

For the first time this year, Sony has added historical data such as the number of games played since your account was created and considerations of the trophies you’ve earned. The 2024 edition includes a nod to PlayStation’s 30th anniversary with a retro PlayStation aesthetic and graphics that pay tribute to the brand’s history.

The year-end rewind will be continuously updated until the end of the year, so (once the problems are resolved) you still have the opportunity to change it with some furious marathon sessions in December.

When Wrap Up returns you can find it here. However, there are several requirements to be eligible. You must be at least 18 years old, have an active PlayStation Network account in your region, and have played at least 10 hours on a PS4 or PS5 in calendar year 2024. Another point to consider is that you must opt in to share “full data” (or “additional data” in some regions, including the EU) from your PS5 console. So if you’re wary of big corporations hoovering up your data, consider whether a few moments of high-profile nostalgia justify the cost.
