The raunchy DJ son of accused Adams pal Ingrid Lewis-Martin took advantage of his mother’s connection to power

The slippery DJ son of Mayor Eric Adams’ longtime ally Ingrid Lewis-Martin furthered his small career by spying on his family’s powerful connections – even before his mother allegedly traded favors for bribes that got him a Porsche.

Before Glenn Martin II, 38, turned himself in to authorities with his mother on Thursday to face bribery charges in a Manhattan court, he was perhaps best known as DJ Suave Luciano, a singer whose music videos featured scantily clad women can be seen.

But DJ Suave’s life was so intertwined with his natural mother’s career that they shared a joint bank account – into which they deposited $100,000 in bribes from two real estate developers, according to prosecutors on Thursday.

In return for the money and other favors – including expected help in setting up a Chick-fil-A franchise for Martin II – from the developers, Lewis-Martin allegedly helped them obtain building permits for their projects, according to the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

Martin II put some of the money into a black 2023 Porsche Panamera worth $113,000, “something neither he nor Lewis-Martin could have financed without the bribe,” the mother-son indictment says -Duo.

The purchase and other benefits listed in court documents were not the only benefit Martin II allegedly received because of his mother.

The DJ is the son of Lewis-Martin and Glenn Martin, a former NYPD cop and friend of Adams from his time at the police academy.

After Adams, who is not implicated in the charges against Lewis-Martin and her son, became mayor in 2022, DJ Suave Luciano frequently performed at official city events.

When Adams rejected the drill rap genre for allegedly inciting violence, the mayor hosted a summit with hip-hop artists that Suave attended, according to an Instagram post from state Assembly candidate Hercules Reid.

DJ Suave Luciano also performed at Rise Up NYC concerts and other city performances, although The Post found no payments to Martin II in public records.

Lewis-Martin introduced her son during a reception at Gracie Mansion celebrating Caribbean-American heritage in June by joking that the DJ was performing for free at the city-hosted event.

“He’s always volunteering,” she said. “They try to write about us in the newspaper, but he won’t take any money. He is a volunteer. I’m just saying this.”

The future Suave Luciano showed early interest in a DJ career, and PIX11 – where the younger Martin was a “Friday Forecaster” – reported that he had been spinning records since he was three.

According to PIX11, Martin II studied psychology at Molloy University on an athletic scholarship and graduated in 2008.

His first single, “First Place,” featured a distinctly Caribbean vibe and lascivious lyrics — along with a video filled with New York City landmarks, with hordes of scantily clad women circling around him.

Another music video for the song “Sumo,” uploaded in July to please the musician’s approximately 80 YouTube subscribers, puts even more emphasis on clarity.

Barely clad women shake their butts as Suave sings, dances, grinds and poses in front of a Lamborghini.

DJ Suave Luciano’s career included performances at Woodland, a Caribbean fusion brunch spot on Flatbush Avenue that attracted a predominantly black clientele and drew complaints from his predominantly white Park Slope neighbors about drunken patrons, fights and frequent NYPD visits.

The store closed in 2020 after the state Liquor Authority revoked its license because it found it encouraged noise and disturbance. Between the panel’s decision and the Woodland deadline, a man was stabbed in a bloody bar fight, Patch reported.

Martin II and Lewis-Martin pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday.
