The Red Wings settled for one point in the OT loss in Boston

The Red Wings collect points in games, but not the full two.

In the NHL, that hurts a team.

For the second straight year, the Wings went to overtime but were unable to secure a victory as Boston’s Pavel Zacha scored a goal in overtime to give the Bruins a 3-2 win.

On the play, Boston’s David Pastrnak escaped and possibly tripped over Alex DeBrincat – DeBrincat appeared to be holding the stick and may have lost his balance – and got the puck to Zacha, who exchanged passes before Zacha hit a one-on-one at 2 minutes and 15. Timer completed seconds.
