Ashton Jeanty may not win the Heisman, but Boise State’s running back is having a monster season.

So he could end up in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In our latest NFL mock draft by Christian D’Andrea, he had the perfect spot for Jeanty: the Dallas Cowboys, who have a history of taking RBs in the first round (hello, Ezekiel Elliott). And in The Ringer’s latest taunt, Danny Kelly also lets Jeanty go to…the Cowboys! Seems like everyone has their Jerry Jones hats on.

Here’s what he had to say about the election he planned:

There will be obvious (and legitimate) questions about the long-term value of selecting a running back so high in the draft, but Jeanty would provide a much-needed spark to the Cowboys’ offense, which is the case aside from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb This season there has been a noticeable lack of decision-makers in the qualifying positions. Dallas has to get some help for Dak Prescott as he hopes to emerge from slump in 2025. Jeanty is a special talent; He has gyroscopic balance through contact and home run bat speed that would give Dallas some juice on the ground.
