The newbie Showrunner Alexi Hawley explains exactly where the show’s seventh season begins.

Hawley recently discussed where the upcoming seventh season will find Chen and Bradford, who had a particularly sad breakup in season six. Hawley noted that at some point in season seven, Bradford will be involved in “A Scene Where He…” He is in a veteran support group and is still trying to work on himself. And the good news is that he understands what he did wrong. Hawley continued, “The worst thing he could have ever done to himself was breaking up with Lucy, and he’s going to fully figure that out and then deal with the fallout as well.”

The newbie is currently available to stream on Hulu. The seventh season premiere is scheduled for January 7th on ABC.
