The shooting at Abundant Life Christian School left 5 people dead, including the suspected shooter Live stream

MADISON (WKOW) — A shooting was reported Monday morning at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison.

According to Madison police, officers were called to the scene just before 11 a.m

When officers got there, they found several people had been shot. The suspected shooter, a teenager and student at the school, was found dead.

10 people were injured. At least five people were killed, including the suspected shooter.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes did not provide biographical information about the victims.

Madison police asked the public to avoid the area. The school is located on E. Buckeye Road, off Stoughton Road. It is expected that roads will be closed.

Abundant Life Christian School released the following statement on its Facebook page on Monday:

“Prayers requested! There was an active shooter incident at ALCS today. We are in the middle of tracking. We will share information as we can.” Please pray for our Challenger Companymily.”

Madison Police and the City of Madison confirm that parents and students will be reunited at the Dean Clinic on Stoughton Road (1821 S. Stoughton Road).

Another press conference is expected at 2:30 p.m
