Wide receiver Scotty Miller, who was released from the 53-man roster on Thursday, was placed on the practice squad and elevated to the active roster. His wide receiver colleague Jamal Agnew was also elevated.

When Miller joined the practice squad, the Steelers signed safety Ayo Oyelola from the practice squad.

Anderson joined the Steelers in September and appeared in four games this season. He was placed on injured reserve on December 12 with a groin injury, but returned to practice earlier in the week.
