The TSA is investigating another stowaway on a Delta flight

The TSA and Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines are investigating another stowaway on a flight.

The plane was traveling from Seattle to Hawaii.

The passenger without a ticket sneaked onto the plane on Christmas Eve.

Brady Bly’s flight to Honolulu took a turn.

“No one really knew what was going on. So we were kind of in the dark,” Bly said Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach.

Bly said while taxiing they were told of a security breach and returned to the gate.

“It’s kind of scary if someone could just sneak on the plane through two security checkpoints,” Bly said.

The secret stowaway got off the plane with everyone else and Seattle Port Police found her hiding in a toilet in the terminal.

According to the TSA, the ticketless passenger bypassed boarding pass and ID checks, went through normal screening, and then somehow managed to get past the gate agent and board the flight the next day without papers.

In a statement to its employees, Delta said it “followed procedures to remove a ticketless passenger from the flight and then arrest him.”

But Bly still feels insecure and questions her safety.

“I don’t believe Delta did everything they could to protect people on the flight. Um, drop by, get around two security holes. Maybe I can understand one thing, but I don’t think so, the second one, it’s almost impossible,” he said.

This is the second stowaway to board a Delta flight in recent weeks.

Just before Thanksgiving, a woman with Russian citizenship was only caught after making it all the way from New York City to Paris.

“I think everyone just needs to do a better job making sure people are where they need to be,” Bly said.

After more than two hours delay, the flight finally reached Hawaii.

The airline has not released the identity of the suspect, but that person was arrested and charged with trespassing.
