The view Co-host Sunny Hostin‘s husband Emmanuel “Manny” Hostin was recently named in a lawsuit.

Emmanuel, an orthopedic surgeon in New York, is among more than 200 defendants named in a lawsuit filed last month that reportedly seeks charges The view Husband of Federal Insurance Fraud Host.

According to a report by the Daily MailEmmanuel allegedly received “kickbacks” by “running an operation and making fraudulent billings” with the insurance company American Transit, which insures taxi companies and Uber and Lyft drivers.

The lawsuit, filed on December 17, is said to be one of the largest Cases ever filed under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) in New York. Emmanuel, along with many others, is accused of “knowingly providing fraudulent medical and other health care services, including arthroscopic surgeries.”

American Transit claims it was charged “kickbacks and/or other compensation disguised as dividends or other cash distributions.”

Emmanuel has been married to Sunny since 1998 and has two children with the talk show host, a lawyer and former federal prosecutor.

According to a statement to the Daily Mail, Emmanuel’s lawyer, Daniel Thwaitessaid his client “denies every single allegation” and believes the lawsuit is a “blanket, isolated, baseless lawsuit from a near-bankrupt insurance carrier.”
