The voice has crowned a new champion!

After weeks of blind auditions, battles, knockouts, playoffs and live shows, the NBC singing competition crowned the Season 26 winner, who received the grand prize of $100,000, a recording contract and a shiny new trophy.

According to America’s vote, which top 5 finalist came out on top: Danny Joseph (Team Reba), Jeremy Beloate (Team Snoop), Shye (Team Bublé), Sydney Sterlace (Team Gwen) or Sofronio Vasquez (Team Bublé)?

Although Sterlace came up short, Gwen Stefani praised the 16-year-old singer for making it this far in her young journey. “Every single moment counts. Being in the moment is what matters. Winning doesn’t matter. You won,” Stefani said.

Shortly before Agree When the winner was announced, Bublé promised that he and Shye would work together in the future. “These are not the last words,” he said. “This is one of the many words you and I will share as we move forward together toward a future where I can watch you make beautiful music.”

Vasquez fell to his knees as host Carson Daly declared him the winner. Overwhelmed with emotion, he cried with joy. Shortly before, his trainer Michael Bublé said that the Filipino singer represented “the hope of so many people.” “Not just in the Philippines, but Asians everywhere are really looking at you tonight. You represented her so well. It’s been an incredible journey,” Bublé said.

It’s been an incredible run for Vasquez, who secured a spot in four spots in the blind auditions and has stuck with Bublé since day one, building an impressive catalog of accomplishments throughout the season. His victory also gave Bublé his first win on his first attempt as Agree Trainer.

Each coach’s duet with the top 5

The coaches took the stage to perform unforgettable duets with their finalists. Stefani and Sterlace opened with their rendition of “Wild World” by Cat Stevens, followed by Snoop Dogg and Beloate, who performed “(Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding.

Bublé and Shye inspired Frank and Nancy Sinatra with their sweet cover of “Something Stupid” before Reba McEntire and Joseph sang Cindy Walker’s “You Don’t Know Me.” Bublé eventually collaborated with Vasquez on The Miracles’ Motown classic “Who’s Lovin’ You.”

Every star-studded appearance

The finale began with the Top 8 (Welcome back, Jan Dan, Adam Bohanan and Christina Eagle!) performing the musical hit “Defying Gravity”. Evil.

The episode was also full of all-star performances from Dan + Shay, Myles Smith, Season 24 champion Huntley, Riley Green and Ella Langley, Snoop Dogg and Sting, Kelly Clarkson and Tears for Fears. Season 25 winner Asher HaVon closed the evening with a beautiful ballad written for and dedicated to McEntire, his coach.

An early look at season 27

The voice is taking a well-deserved two-month break before starting a new cycle in February.

After leaving the program in 2019, originally Agree Coach Adam Levine will be back in the red chair in his expected return. The Maroon 5 frontman will be joined by returning coaches Bublé and John Legend, as well as Kelsea Ballerini, who is making her coaching debut.
