Changeable weather with clouds and showers is expected over the next few days. After a cool start to the weekend with light icing on some Saturdays, temperatures will become milder early next week. Areas of freezing drizzle and light freezing rain will move through central and southern New Hampshire this morning. This could cause a layer of ice to form on untreated items, resulting in a slippery ride. Temperatures are slowly rising above freezing this afternoon, with lots of clouds. Further showers are expected on Sunday, with patchy light icing possible in the morning, particularly in central and northern areas. Continued rain is expected overnight Sunday into Monday. On Monday morning it will be windy and mild, with temperatures sometimes below 50°C. While New Year’s Eve looks mostly dry, different weather approaches early on New Year’s Day with rain in the south and a mix of snow and winter further north.
