YES. HERE ARE OUR HEADLINES FOR US. WE’RE TALKING ABOUT SEVERAL MORNINGS OF FOG. There were spotty showers this week too. VERY stained. It won’t even affect all of us. AND THEN GOT SOME COOLER AIR ON THE WAY LATER THIS WEEK. So there’s a lot to talk about and a lot to work through. BUT FIRST LET’S TALK ABOUT THE FOG. Less than a mile further down in Houma. THAT IS STILL THE CASE. EVERYONE ELSE BUT. The sensors don’t actually capture the fog, but from some cameras and images I see. We see some fog. BUT MUCH OF IT IS JUST UP IN THE AIR. But be aware: If you leave the house this morning, you’ll likely encounter a fog. IT WILL PROBABLY GET A LITTLE WORSE AS WE STAND LOWER IN THE MORNING. We will continue to monitor this, but your wind speeds are very high. This sort of helps push some of the fog out so the fog can’t really stick. So once we calm down and the wind is likely tomorrow and Wednesday morning when we have our fog, visibility is really going to get worse for us. BUT WHEN WE COME LATER IN THE MORNING, A LOT OF THIS WILL BE CLEAR. BUT LOOKING AT TUESDAY MORNING, we are once again looking at a foggy start to the day. Some fog looks worse for us and then we’ll see it clear by mid-morning. THIS IS THE TREND. But as we reach midnight, I see the fog already developing. So that’s Tuesday rolling into your Wednesday, and Wednesday is an impact day right now. Do you think the fog will be worse? The wind will be calm. FOG WORSE. Not only that, it looks like it will stay there for at least several hours of your morning. That’s a forewarning. BUT YES, WE WILL SEE SOME FOG. I just see some fog. This is the Crescent City connection. But it’s obvious that drivers are currently driving through this layer of fog with a temperature of 64 degrees. And then I’ll give you this little hint: If your dew points and your actual temperatures are the same, you will see fog. Just in case you ever wondered. Yes, this is the first indication that we will probably see some fog outside. HERE’S A LOOK AT THEIR TEMPERATURES AT OTHER 67° APARTMENTS IN BOGALUSA. So we got off to a mild start for everyone. 1960’S NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, THAT’S PRETTY ANNOUNCEABLE, AND IF WE GO LATER IN THE DAY IT WILL BE WARMER FOR US. IT’S ALREADY 70° AT 9 AM, AND AS SOON AS THE FOG clears, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT PARTLY SUNNY SKIES TODAY. Therefore, the chances of it raining are not great. We have a chance that it’s not huge for us. I think most of us will stay dry today. Along coastal areas, high temperatures will be in the mid-70s for most of us, although slightly cooler. If you do see some rain, it will be a short shower, perhaps 15 to 20 minutes. However, most of the rain will be toward BATON ROUGE and just north and northwest of it. But mostly dry for us. Lows for this evening. Look at this, very mild, lots of 50s and some 60s. AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT FEELS THIS MORNING. We lower it a few degrees. It will feel the same. However, dew points will decrease. You have a front that moves from Wednesday to Thursday. That will bring some changes, but in the meantime it’s trying to overcome a front. I’ll just stay to the north of us. So this won’t affect us too much. But here’s the front page we’re tracking from Wednesday to Thursday. This will bring in some cooler air. IT WILL NOT BE MUCH COOLER, BUT THERE WILL BE A DIFFERENCE. We start the work week foggy and mild. There will be fog in the next morning. Expect partly cloudy skies today with highs in the mid-70s. The chance of rain is very low. Most of us stay dry, but if you do get a patchy shower it will probably last 15 to 20 minutes. Expect another mild night! Lows will only fall into the 50s and 60s. Fog develops overnight and worsens by the time you drive to work in the morning. Highs are expected to be back in the 70s on Tuesday. Due to the expected dense fog, there is already an IMPACT DAY for Wednesday. The wind will be light to calm and highs will also rise to 70°C on this day. A front is advancing from Wednesday to Thursday. Highs for Thursday will be over 10 degrees cooler than Wednesday with temperatures in the 60s. The chance of rain remains low this week, with temperatures gradually cooling towards the weekend.
