Harrison, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, made his true NFL debut with a catch on three targets for 4 yards against the Buffalo Bills.

Much attention was paid to his lack of stats and upside, but then he exploded for 130 yards and two touchdowns on four receptions. It was hardly a foretaste of the times to come in the desert.

Heading into the final two games of the year, Harrison has 51 catches (tied for fifth among rookies), 726 receiving yards (fifth) and seven receiving TDs (second). Aside from touchdowns, his numbers are hardly overwhelming, especially considering other first-rounders like Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr. and tight end Brock Bowers are having statistically outstanding seasons.

Even though the Cardinals’ season is about to end, the onus still lies on the final two games as the Murray-Harrison connection must be a focal point for the franchise.

“We have no choice, we have to get it where we need it,” Murray said. “He is who he is, we have to get it going – to make our offense what we want it to be.”

The Murray-Harrison combination still has games on Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams and on January 5, 2025 against the San Francisco 49ers. Harrison had his aforementioned two-TD game against LA, but previously only had two catches against San Francisco. He and Murray will look to get more of what they accomplished against the Rams as their chemistry experiment continues.
