The Seattle Seahawks have had a terrible performance at home (3-6) and that could cost them a playoff spot. They were also great away from home (5-1) and that’s why they still have a pulse. The Chicago Bears are 4-11 and haven’t won a game since their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 6.

Luckily, it will be a mild night in Chicago (by December standards) and not one of those classic winter nights with bitter cold, wind and maybe some snow. All I’m asking of the Seahawks (besides winning the damn game) is to play clean football, something they’ve rarely done for several seasons, but this year it’s even more true. Limit the penalties, limit the turnovers, limit the missed assignments and show that for once you are demonstrably better than a bottom league team.
