We’ll see double that at the 2025 Golden Globes!

Among all the stars on the red carpet were two lucky celebrity lookalikes who caused a stir in lookalike competitions earlier this year: Miles Mitchell, who is a spitting image of him A complete unknown Star Timothée Chalamet and Maxwell Braunstein, a mirror of killer Actor Glen Powell.

The two lookalikes posed on the carpet – each wearing a sharp suit – and held a sign that read, “I won a lookalike contest and am now at the Golden Globes.”

Mitchell first attracted attention in October 2024 for his uncanny resemblance to 29-year-old Chalamet at a fan-organized lookalike contest in New York’s Washington Park. Hundreds of people gathered to watch dozens of competitors compete for the title – but the event garnered even more attention than that dune The actor himself appeared.

Although the competition was quickly shut down by the New York Police Department due to the crowds that had gathered without permission – and at least one person was arrested and cited – Mitchell had the opportunity to hang out with Chalamet at a screening event he attended Post on Instagram last month.

“Life isn’t made up of real guys😂,” Mitchell captioned the post.

Braunstein also had the opportunity to meet his celebrity twin. After being crowned the winner of a 36-year-old Glen Powell Lookalike Contest in Austin, Texas, where Powell’s own mother served as a judge and where he beat out hundreds of competitors, the Austin-based physician assistant spoke to the Twister Star over FaceTime.

“Blessed is that your mother thinks I’m anything like you,” he told the actor.

By winning the contest, Braunstein received $5 in prize money, a cowboy hat, and free queso from Torchy’s for a year. But the most exciting victory: a promised cameo in Powell’s next film.

The couple even had the chance to reunite on the Golden Globes red carpet, hugging and taking a selfie together, which was shared in a video posted by E on X (formerly Twitter)! News.

While Mitchell and Braunstein won’t be picking up any awards at the Golden Globes tonight, their respective lookalikes each received a nomination. In the musical or comedy category, Powell is nominated for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture for the Netflix film killer. And in the drama category, Chalamet is nominated for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture for the Bob Dylan biopic A complete unknown.
