Timothée Chalamet visits Minneapolis on Thursday ahead of the actor’s role in the new Bob Dylan biopic

Actor Timothée Chalamet was spotted in Minneapolis on Thursday before a private screening of “A Complete Unknown,” the biopic in which he plays legendary musician and Minnesota native Bob Dylan.

Chalamet was seen strolling through the Dinkytown neighborhood in Minneapolis during the day and taking photos with fans. He also found time to stop by a marching band rehearsal at the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus.

The marching band, which posted a few videos of Chalamet enjoying his music, including Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower,” is scheduled to play at a private party after the film’s screening Thursday night.

Chalamet documented his visit via Instagram and posted a few photos, including one from the field at Huntington Bank Stadium at U Date.

“Timmy is a brilliant actor, so I’m sure he’ll be as believable as I am,” the post reads. “Or a younger me. Or any other me.”

Actor Chalamet, 28, considered a heartthrob by many, raised eyebrows among some in Minnesota and beyond who questioned his ability to play Dylan and recreate his unique singing voice in the film.

After seeing Dylan’s praise, Chalamet posted an Instagram Story with a series of verbs to express how excited he was, including “scream,” “cry” and “poop.”
