Christmas travel delays are expected due to snow and rain in the US

If you’re one of the millions preparing to travel before the Christmas holidays, be prepared – delays on the roads and in the air are expected as rainy and winter weather sweeps across the country by the end of this week.

No major storms are expected at the moment, but due to rainfall, travel across the river and through the forests is likely to be slightly slower than normal for millions of people.

The coldest air of the season will enter the United States

Bitter cold will hit the northern United States this week, bringing some of the coldest temperatures so far this winter to millions of people across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

The FOX Forecast Center said temperatures would drop sharply on Saturday and Sunday, with highs expected to be nearly 20 degrees below average. Forecast minimum temperatures are expected to dip into the single digits for many in the North East, but this will be short-lived as warmer air moves in before Christmas.

Fire danger returns to Southern California

Fire danger has returned to Southern California as crews continue their work to extinguish the Franklin Fire.

Fire weather warnings are in effect for parts of the region, including Malibu and Santa Clarita, California, as Santa Ana winds combined with low relative humidity will create elevated wildfire weather conditions on Wednesday.

Watch: Ohio earthquake shakes traffic cameras

Hundreds of people inside Ohio were shaken on Monday when a magnitude of 3.3 occurred earthquake met near the community Chesapeakeand cameras were rolling as the ground began to shake.

A video An image shared by OHGO, a website that shares real-time traffic information in Ohio, showed cameras starting to shake like cars traveled on surrounding streets and highways.
