It wasn’t the easiest transition from the field to the broadcast booth for the greatest soccer player in history. For Tom Brady, the blunders and stumbles continued in his first-ever playoff game.

Roasted over the coals of the Internet Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

With the first half of the game getting tight and the Eagles leading 10-0, Brady decided to praise a play call from Philadelphia.

Unfortunately for him, he made a small slip of the tongue and mentioned the name of the baseball team from the City of Brotherly Love rather than the name of the football team.

“(You have) three timeouts, so you’d have a couple of games.” “But I like that call from the Phillies… Sorry, Philly,” Brady said on television.

Brady also mixed up Packers running back Josh Jacobs’ name, calling him Brandon Jacobs instead.

Since his rough debut in Week 1 of the NFL season, Burkhardt and Brady’s locker room has been the most talked-about commentary pair in sports.

Brady was targeted for his occasional awkward moments and mistakes. Fans often point to the huge 10-year, $375 million contract Fox gave him before they even heard him do color commentary.

Earlier this season, after Brady’s minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders was approved, the NFL adopted a series of rules for the 47-year-old to follow in order to keep the situation fair for other teams.

That includes Brady being banned from entering other teams’ facilities, watching practices and participating in production meetings virtually or in person. He is also prohibited from criticizing game managers or other clubs.

All of these rules would either affect his preparation as a broadcaster or limit the speech he can or cannot use on the show.
