Tom Brady reveals intriguing Patriots details about Randy Moss

Tom Brady took the spotlight on this first broadcast of the Thanksgiving game, offering a little something extra for New England Patriots fans.

The FOX broadcast looked back at legendary Thanksgiving Day performances and highlighted Randy Moss’ legendary three-touchdown, 163-yard game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Reflecting on his former teammate’s career, Brady revealed that after New England acquired Moss, he spent four months working on being able to throw seven yards further. How did this process work exactly? Well, the broadcast quickly brushed aside that intriguing detail and focused on the terrible game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.

Kevin Burkhardt later addressed the Moss anecdote with Brady, but the Patriots Hall of Famer didn’t add too many details about his act, which allowed him to throw the ball farther. Instead, he got a little silly and admitted that he was slipping back into “fuck it, Randy’s down there somewhere” mode. Brady complimented Moss when he called the Hall of Fame wide receiver a “scholar” and “football genius.”

There weren’t too many details, but Brady’s work on adding more air yards to his throws will be another clue for fans to add to the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s legacy.
