Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolverhampton Wanderers: Match time, live blog and how to watch online

It would be just like Tottenham Hotspur playing against a team that is at the bottom of the table and has picked up two wins thanks to a “new managerial move”.

That is the situation this weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Just outside the relegation zone, Wolves sacked manager Gary O’Neil and immediately won their next two games against Leicester City and Manchester United.

Dr. Tottenham will see you now.

The situation for a battered and depleted Spurs side has become even more desperate with the sacking of Ben Davies now expected to last into the new year and Radu Dragusin suffering a blow in the defeat to Nottingham Forest. Whatever the situation with the team, Ange Postecoglou needs to find a solution quickly. Maybe this is the match he makes; Maybe he can embrace his inner MacGyver and fashion a center back out of paper clips and tape?

Adjust thread rules

The match thread rules are the same as always. All visitors who come here for the first time are warmly welcome! We’re glad you’re here! Wipe your feet, mind the gap, and be sure to check out the other pages of this excellent site. However, while you’re here, we have a few rules and regulations:

  • Absolutely no links to illegal streams. They are evil and get us into trouble. Violators will be warned or banned.
  • We have rules against “relentless negativity.” Nobody likes a negative Nancy. Don’t be knee-jerk and post outlandish or hurtful things just because you’re frustrated.
  • In this sense, direct insults to players or match officials are not permitted. It’s okay to say “Wow, that was a really bad call,” but it’s NOT okay to excessively berate said officer over a call you didn’t like.
  • Treat other people in the match thread the way you would want someone else to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an unmoderated message board.
  • NO SPIDERS!
  • Although we don’t have a policy against profanity, please try to keep the naughty words at bay. In addition, statements that are sexist, racist, transphobic or homophobic in nature will be immediately deleted and you will be blocked immediately. This is an open, supportive community.

Have fun and COYS!
