One wanted to turn towards the Edeka warehouse and then collided with another. The semi-trailer also employed a third truck. There are no injuries, but the trucks that collided need to be towed away. That’s why the street has been closed since morning in the area of ​​Oberster Kamp and Unnaerer Straße. Accident causes huge traffic jams in Hamm-Rhynern and on motorways

The A2 is also affected by the accident. Trucks can no longer turn to the Edeka warehouse. Due to the traffic jam on Werler Straße, they also only get off the motorway slowly. There was therefore a temporary back-up on the A2 from the exit in Hamm to the exit in Bönen. The police in Hamm are therefore in contact with the Dortmund motorway police. They have decided to temporarily close both exits from the A2 completely. You can then only leave in Bönen or Uentrop. The road still needs to be cleaned and a truck needs to be stored as dangerous goods. So far it is unclear how long it will take until the situation and traffic ease again. The Hammer police are on site with all available forces and are currently regulating traffic.
