A close adviser to Donald Trump has issued a warning to the US, claiming the nationwide drone sightings are a chilling government conspiracy.

Charlie Kirk, 31, a right-wing activist and close friend of new President Trump, appeared on X on Friday (December 13) and ranted about the mysterious drones. “WE ARE F*****,” Kirk began calmly. “THE DRONES ARE PROJECT BLUE BEAM.” Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory that began in the 1990s and claims that government and military organizations are planning to use advanced technology to manipulate the world’s population.

Kirk added: “See for yourself videos of them turning balls of light into airplanes while filming.” THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT INVESTIGATING. THEY DO THIS. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE COMING DAYS IS NOT GOOD.”

The outlandish “Project Blue Beam” conspiracy theory has gained traction recently, with commentators like Kirk suggesting that the US government may be staging an alien invasion as a pretext for imposing an authoritarian system.

Republican leader Trump turned to Truth Social to target the drones: “Mysterious drone sightings across the country. Can this really happen without our government’s knowledge? I do not believe that! Inform the public, now. Otherwise she’ll shoot!”

Joe Biden’s administration has so far offered no explanation for the spate of drone sightings, and the Pentagon maintains there is no threat to national security. The vast majority of the mysterious planes have been spotted in New Jersey, but they have also been reported across the country from California to Washington DC.

Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew speculated that the drones could have come from an “enemy mothership.”

“Could it be China? Absolutely. “Iran is definitely a possibility,” Van Drew said. “I have extremely credible sources who believe Iran may have a ship off the east coast. We are not being told the truth. They treat the American public like we’re stupid.”

Last month it was reported that Donald Trump was using Kirk, along with Elon Musk, as a sounding board for possible Cabinet appointments.
