UK Wildcats News: AJ Dybantsa Decision Day

It’s game day for Kentucky Basketball as the Wildcats host Lexington Colgate on Wednesday night.

On the recruiting front, things are also relatively quiet today regarding Kentucky and its push to build its 2025 roster.

However, a Southeastern Conference opponent appears to be the main candidate for AJ Dybantsa – next year’s top candidate. Today he is scheduled to announce his decision on where he will play his first season of college basketball.

Dybantsa recently narrowed down his suitors to Alabama, BYU, Kansas and North Carolina.

BYU has led the sweepstakes in most of its recruiting efforts, but Alabama has made a tough push lately that may have turned the tide.

If the Crimson Tide were to land Dybantsa, it would be a huge boost to their current 11th-ranked recruiting class, which includes four-star prospects Amari Allen, Davion Hannah and London Jemison.

The decision will air on ESPN’s First Take, which airs at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Check back later to see which program Dybantsa chooses.
