United flight attendant stroke

A Reddit user who was a passenger on board the United flight UA951 reported the incident. The user wrote: “I’m sitting on the plane. The French-speaking flight attendant (from Brussels to Dulles) became ill in the middle (I have no idea what) and the condition worsened so much that she had to be evacuated. We are refueling and a passenger makes all the announcements in French.

Another passenger on board the flight commented on the post and shared: “I’m on this flight – the flight attendants in Polaris said he had a stroke.” “We’re sitting on the ground at Boston airport.”

According to FlightRadar24, a United Airlines flight departed Brussels at 11:10 a.m. UTC. After the flight attendant had been in the air for approximately seven hours, he alerted the cockpit crew to a possible stroke in one of the flight attendants.

The flight crew then decided to divert to the nearby major airport. The flight landed safely at Boston Logan at 18:45 UTC. The plane taxied to a remote location near Terminal E.

One user wrote: “If you need to redirect someone for a medical emergency, Boston is at least the best possible place.” BMC is probably closer via TWT, and while that’s a good hospital, hopefully they went to Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). (one of the best in the world).’

Some users prayed for the crew’s recovery and well-being, while others said that in such a situation, a quick medical response was key to saving lives.
