A man questioned by authorities in connection with the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO has ties to Maryland, New York police said Monday afternoon.

“A man was taken into custody in Altoona, Pennsylvania this morning. He was identified as Luigi Nicholas Mangione. “He is a man, 26 years old, he was born and raised in Maryland,” New York Police Chief Joseph Kenny announced at a press conference on Monday afternoon. “We know he has ties to San Francisco, California and his last known address was Honolulu, Hawaii.
