Colorado State will not play for the 2024 Mountain West football championship.

The Rams needed a UNLV loss to Nevada on Saturday night for CSU to advance to the title game.

It didn’t happen. UNLV earned a 38-14 victory over Nevada.

The Mountain West championship game will be broadcast on FOX UNLV at Boise State on Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. Mountain.

Boise State took a 7-0 lead in Mountain West play. CSU and UNLV both went 6-1 in conference play. Currently ranked 22nd, UNLV is ahead of CSU in the tiebreaker in the top 25 of the College Football Playoff.
