Updated Big 12 Championship game scenarios: Arizona State secures spot, three teams still alive

Arizona State has officially punched its ticket to the Big 12 Championship game. The Sun Devils defeated their rival Arizona in a dominant 49-7 win on Saturday, but needed a few other things to go their way.

You got it when TCU hit Cincinnatiand secured an appearance in the conference title game David Hale from ESPN. The Sun Devils now face one of three potential opponents.

The remaining three teams in the competition are BYU, Colorado and Iowa State, and they still have a few things to do as there are still games to play. This includes Iowa Statewhat is currently leading Kansas State with a score of 24-14 at halftime. Big 12 Championship Game Scenarios

The Sun Devils played another great game Cam Skattebo as he rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Additionally quarterback Sam Leavitt threw for 291 yards and three scores on an explosive day from ASU’s offense.

Arizona State has come from nowhere to clinch a spot in the Big 12 Championship after victories against Kansas State And BYU in the two weeks leading up to the win against the Wildcats. The Sun Devils have won five straight contests to close out the regular season.
