With the Operation Santa project, the Postal Service is helping Santa Claus cross a few families off his list. The project uses “Dear Santa” letters to find local families in need during the Christmas season. The Postal Service is putting the letters online in hopes that people will get help to fulfill a child’s holiday wish. It is requested that all gifts be sent by December 16th. Lucien, 6, is a student at Calvary Christian School in Sacramento. KCRA 3 asked Lucien and her classmates to read some of the letters. “It makes me really grateful that I have what I have now,” Mahennlie Walker added.
