Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis

Round 1: Bohachuk punches straight forward, Davis goes to the body as Bohachuk goes to the middle. They act with direct rights. Good bodywork from Davis. He mixes his shots well. Hard Law by Davis. Bohachuk had little luck keeping Davis out. Davis overcomes Bohachuk’s push and scores again. Body shot from Davis, he’s off to a good start.

Round 2: Bohachuk continues to try to attack with straight punches, but Davis is just out of reach. Davis scores while jumping in and out. He sneaks in again sharply to the right. Davis makes Bohachuk miss and lands to the body again. Bohachuk pushes Davis against the ropes. Nice uppercut from Bohachuk. Bohachuk gets shot by Davis and responds with a left hook. There’s a left hook from Davis. They get right in each other’s faces and land short punches. Bohachuk throws a left hand and Davis goes down. It felt like both fighters were playing with fire there. Standing eight count and they’re back at the start. Bohachuk advances, but with caution. Davis fires back but misses another uppercut as the round comes to an end.

Round 3: Bohachuk was clearly the aggressor in the first seconds of the third round. Davis is still active with counterattacks. Bohachuk goes to the body, but Davis scores. Hard left hook from Bohachuk. Good right hand from Davis, but Bohachuk is effectively coming forward now. Right hook scores for Davis. Two-punch combo from Bohachuk lands. They throw themselves close together again. Right hand through the middle from Bohachuk. Davis with a counter right. Bohachuk to the body, then a glancing uppercut. He hits Davis on the ropes. Uppercut from Davis, he’s not out of here. Bohachuk capped the round with a left hook on the money.

Round 4: Bohachuk starts with a jab, but it doesn’t take long before he cuts off the ring again. Bohachuk lands a few jabs. He found the range. Quick right hand from Davis cracks Bohachuk. Bohachuk attacks with a lot of attack volume and is now winning the close exchanges. Nice shot from Bohachuk. Davis still throws but catches a lot of balls. Bohachuk with a left hook. Davis needs to get his head out of the way so he doesn’t get in the way of these shots. Davis is just trying to fight through, and he’s taking hits.

Round 5: Bohachuk is hot on his heels and chases Davis with that jab. Great right-footed shot from Bohachuk, who scores and then evades a Davis shot. Davis’ left hand on the pipe finds Bohachuk’s chin. Hard left hook from Bohachuk, then a right. Bohachuk racks up points whenever Davis tries to get the win with him. Uppercut by Bohachuk. He lands a hard right punch. Davis simply let Bohachuk knock him off. There is a reaction from Davis as he lands an uppercut, but he is beaten by a large margin in this frame. Bohachuk, stringing punches together, hits well.

Round 6: Davis’ punches are much shorter now. He tries to keep up with Bohachuk from distance, but that’s not a starter. Bohachuk lets his right hand fly free. He goes to the body and then lands another left hook. There is a nice body photo of Davis. Clean push from Bohachuk. Davis hits him with a left. Hard rights from Bohachuk as he pushes Davis into the corner. Davis circles out but hits an uppercut, the defense just isn’t there for him at the moment. Big uppercut from Bohachuk and another as Davis tries to circle him. Another strong finish for Bohachuk.

Davis’ corner has seen enough, thank God. He signaled to them that he too had had enough. It was one-way traffic for a while. This fight is over.

Moses Itauma vs. Demsey McKean

Round 1: Itauma turns and settles for working on the outside against the taller McKean. He ducks in and gives McKean a hard shove. Both fighters fire from a distance, but narrowly miss. Itauma stabs the body. He moves well and shoots over the left hand, causing McKean to hit the canvas. There is the eight-counter. McKean recovers. Moments later this was followed by another big left-footed shot from Itauma, which spun McKean as he went to the screen. This time he doesn’t answer the count convincingly. Another first round knockout for Itauma.
