Utah Jazz Trade Rumors: There will be a lot in store for this Jazz player

According to Jake Fischer during his NBA Rumors Chat on Bleacher Report, Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson are both available. But he also says that the Utah Jazz would prefer to keep Walker Kessler. (Kudos to David J. Smith for pointing this out.)

This is nothing new for any of these players, but it provides clarity for Kessler. But the idea that it takes a “big package” to get him reminds me of something. Oh, that’s right, all last offseason we heard the same thing from Lauri Markkanen. Ultimately nothing came of it and we see the same playbook. Utah is happy with Kessler, but if there’s a team out there willing to pay a significant overage, it sounds like Utah wouldn’t turn it down. Looking back at this offseason and how it went. Teams like the Warriors and Kings, who had strong interest in Markkanen, certainly seem to regret not paying the high price.

When it comes to Sexton and Clarkson, it seems pretty obvious that Utah is probably going for the highest package they can get for Collin Sexton. That may take some time, but Utah needs to think about the consequences of Sexton costing them losses down the road. Utah is in an extremely tight race for Cooper Flagg and should consider a move sooner rather than later to make that happen.
