Merab Dvalishvili found himself in trouble again this evening (Sat. December 7, 2024). UFC 310 LIVE continues ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the UFC bantamweight champion tried to get his hands on a fan in the stands.

It’s been a busy week for Dvalishvili, who was in “Sin City.” To promote his upcoming title fight next month with Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 311 and engage his teammate, former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, at UFC 310. Sterling faced undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev.

Sterling, who received solid crowd support on Saturday night, lost his fight against Evloev via unanimous decision. It was a lot closer than the scorecards showed, but “Funk Master” barely protested after he left the cage.

However, Dvalishvili carried some emotions outside the Octagon and got into a confrontation with a fan for currently unknown reasons. Dvalishvili was joined by his teammate, UFC lightweight fighter Dennis Buzukja, who actually ran up to the fan and exchanged punches. Luckily, Dvalishvili was restrained by security so he didn’t do anything stupid to thwart his upcoming title defense.

It was a pretty wild scene to say the least, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise to fight fans. Remember, Dvalishvili climbed over a railing to confront a heckler at the Craig Jones Invitational in August and then he met another annoying fan during the UFC trip to France last September. This is his third incident in just four months. Not a great look for the newly crowned UFC bantamweight king.
