VIDEO: Dan Campbell’s locker room speech: ‘This is what we’re meant for’

Is there anything better than a Detroit Lions win? A victory for the Detroit Lions over the Green Bay Packers? And the only thing that’s better? A speech from Dan Campbell in the locker room after this win.

Thanks to Prime Video, we didn’t have to wait for the Lions to release the video themselves. They released a shortened version on the show and then on social media.

“I’m so damn proud of you,” Campbell begins. “That’s how you show yourself. You talk about pressure, we live under pressure. We’re doing damn well there.”

The Lions entered this game severely undermanned on defense. They added four players less than a week ago, and all four were active and played a role in Detroit’s thrilling 34-31 win over the Packers that clinched a playoff spot and lifted Green Bay to a deep third place in the Division brought.

“It doesn’t matter who plays for us, it doesn’t matter what’s going on, you always find a way to win,” Campbell shouted. He later added, “This was in the making, man. That was in preparation. We should all be here together. This is what we are meant for.”

Any post-game speech from Dan Campbell is amazing, but you can tell this one meant a little more to him because he was screaming the whole time. That’s appropriate because I think every Lions fan was screaming the entire fourth quarter.

The Lions are 12-1, y’all. Let it sink in.
